Many a time, I see answers on Apple lists that refer the OP to a WWDC video, often with the specific time code that meets the OP's specific question.
For example, Ken Thomases' helpful answer to the thread "Question about menuHasKeyEquivalent:forEvent:target:action:," in which he referred to the number and time code for a session held four conferences ago.
I have a migraine, so my Googling skills are under a cloud, but I don't see any reference to an index of subtopics (or even topics, really) of the videos. I have a hard time believing that the responders have an encyclopedic knowledge of what was said at sessions going back years, down to the second. Nor do I credit that they run the entire stream just to get a time hack just to answer one question on a mailing list.
1. Such people have access to a detailed subject concordance for WWDC videos.
2. Such people had researched the same question some time in the past, and kept detailed records.
I'd hope for access to (1), and find (2) hard to believe, to the point of clinical interest. What's the trick?
