+1. Something like this would be useful. 

In my main project I’ve got a set of source files that need different flags (mostly because they’re non-ARC), and it feels kludgy to have to do this in the Compile Sources build phase. (And yet, it would feel even kludgier to have to make a new static-library target for them.)
