man page in Documentation and API Reference

This is kind of a follow up to the "man page" threads.
I've got my man pages installed. What I'm looking for is an optimal way to search for the man pages in Xcode's "Documentation and API Reference" window.
I know the man pages are there. For example, entering "socket" in the search field brings up the BSD system call, and I can follow links to get to the open() and close() BSD calls. However, if I enter "open" in the search field, I cannot find the open() BSD system call.
Is there anything I can type into the search field that will make the BSD man page show up? (sort of like adding "site:apple.com" to a google search).
Thanks,
Todd
