10.8 doc set not listed even though it's installed

It looks like the far left column of the Xcode doc window contains a list of installed doc sets.  But for me it does not include the 10.8 doc set, even though the prefs window shows it is installed.

Is there something new about doc sets that is required for them to appear in the list?
