Hi,

I tried this without success, I get exactly the same behaviour. Do you mean, open the Storyboard with no other project files open? This does open more quickly, but then I can't hook up outlets, IBActions etc?. Not sure if I am understand what you are saying?

Thanks for the help
Dave

When I open the storyboard under XCode 5, it takes a good minute+ to open it and then, if I click anything, ages before the UI responds. The first time it happened, I clicked a few times in frustration and when the UI did eventually come back all my clicks had been queued and then it spent a good 10 seconds uselessly folding and unfolding the view hierarchy I had option clicked on. Anything to do with the storyboard seem to run like treacle.
