Well, I'm thinking this is a red herring.
It turns out that every project I've created in the past week has the same error, but each storyboard loads in the Simulator and on the device.
What is really odd is that by using the + button, I can't re-add the storyboards to the "Copy Bundle Resources", because they are not listed in the file selection sheet that rolls down.
I can only add them if I select "Add Other" and nav to the file and yep, when I do, it's all red again.
Trying to follow your very clear instructions, I can't.
Location is locked at "Relative to Group" and the popup is grayed out. So is the folder underneath.
The items are stored in a Base.lproj folder.
This is really strange and appears in at least 4 projects I've created over the past week.
But the storyboards load, which is stranger.
In any case, I do have a build which is failing due to duplicate symbols that I have to track down.
OK. Here is the issue.
ANY iOS project created using the Single View Application has this problem.
I don't have time to pursue this since the storyboards are actually loading and I have other issues to solve. It's a reporting of an error that doesn't exist.
Thanks Dave.
