Static Analyzer not working correctly?

  • Subject: Static Analyzer not working correctly?

Hi,

I’m using XCode 5.1.1. and building an iOS project. I ran the static analyzer a few days ago and it pointed out a few Dead Stores (Blue Warnings). When I run it today, it starts to run, says it’s Analyzing but I get no warnings at all, a few Yellow Warnings, but no Blue ones, yet I know there are at least some Dead Stores in the code (the ones it’s reported originally for a start!).

It doesn’t seem to take very long “Analyzing” either, like something is causing it to stop early, although it doesn’t report anything.

I do a “Clean”, then “Analyze”, the whole project compiles ok and runs.

Any help on trying to track this down would be greatly appreciated.

All the Best
Dave
