How can I make a build phase with genstrings?

I have a *.m file with a NSLocalizedString macro. I want to automate making the *.strings file for it by genstrings into a build phase, probably with a script-based phase. I checked my copy of the Xcode mailing list e-mails, and all the ones mentioning genstrings were years ago. Is there a instruction list for this for current versions of Xcode?
