Weird. Never heard about that problem.
You can install Xcode 6 next to your existing install of Xcode 5.1, or even run it from the disk image, if you'd like to verify whether or not this issue has already been fixed. If you worry about screwing up your project, you can always create a copy before opening in Xcode 6.
