It’s mostly ok. There’s one Xcode oddity I don’t love (interested to see what Mr Zavatone thinks of it), the navigator pane, that one usually on the left, is semi translucent and it’s really rather unsettling. I happen to have a DHL webpage underneath it right now and there’s a yellow bleed through which looks like my screen has gone wrong. Yesterday I had a few windows under it and their ghosting through was rather distracting. The other Xcode windows don’t have it so the effect is extra strange on that one vertical strip of real estate.
Mail has it too, I guess other things as well but those are the ones I noticed it on.
That effect has other oddities too which I should probably bug report, if you bring another app frontmost, one which only covers some of the screen, like calculator or system prefs you can’t resize at all or finder, if you only have one small window open, the effect disappears again even though that piece of the screen wasn’t covered. I guess the effect is only the second-most app showing through the topmost and now we have Calculator (partial screen) -> Xcode -> DHL webpage so the effect is Xcode on Calculator, not DHL on Xcode. Looks weird though. Firing up bugreporter and skitch.
