OK thanks for the replies. I have another machine to use as a guinea pig, so I went ahead and installed the beta.
Xcode 3.2.6 doesn’t run. There is a circle with a bar through it, and when you try to launch, it says “You can’t use this version of Xcode with this version of OS X”. You can use Get Info to set “open in 32 bit mode”, but the error message still happens.
Man, that is disappointing --I wonder what changed. Maybe someone will devise a workaround. Meanwhile I will have to go back and find out why the later versions of Xcode did not work with my old project.
Boy I know it is the first beta, but Yosemite is *rough*, man. It looks BAD. My apologies in advance to anyone who thinks it looks good. I hope it gets better.
