What is the status for NSStackView support in Xcode 5 IB

What is the status for NSStackView support in Xcode 5 IB?

I can drag and drop simple controls into an NSStackView but trying the same with a series of more complex custom views doesn’t seem to fly.
I can add views to a gravity in code okay but IB support would cut out some glue.
