Why? What possible concern is of theirs how we choose to view data? Tabs are useful for some things in some apps, but in XCode they suck.

Will do, it’s a bit worrying that the stats window is interacting with the Target App or vice versa and causing crashes. I’m guessing you don’t see this if you are targeting iOS since you’ve either running your code under the simulator or on the device itself.

Well it might hide the problem, but there is a definitely crashing problem when you try to turn it off. It could have something to do with using multiple monitors/windows .
You know, this reminds me of a scene from the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, when the AIs are trying to sooth Arthur Dent:
ARTHUR:
Now listen. If I want to be toned up, calmed down, invigorated or anything then it’s very simple: I just have a cup of tea.
NUTRIMATIC DRINK DISPENSER:
Just dried leaves, boiled?
ARTHUR:
Yes.
NUTRIMATIC DRINK DISPENSER, VENTILATION SYSTEM and FLOOR:
Then why did you build all of us?
All the Best
