Found: Cause of Core Data Models Graphically "Imploding"

Several times during the last year I’ve seen the graphical view of a Core Data model (.xcdatamodel) “implode”, meaning that all of the entity boxes relocated to the center of the canvas, on top of one another. I think I’ve discovered the cause of this: Using the Refactor command to rename a property which exists in the data model, possibly in a different class/entity. If you see an .xcdatamodel file listed in the “Preview”, watch out.

After such an accident ruined a huge data model, I viewed the .xcdatamodel file in Xcode's Version Editor, but, oddly, there were no changes in the text when I compared the Local Revision with the prior Commit. So I had to restore it from Time Machine. Then it was OK.
