I'm making the segue by selecting my target view, going to the Connections Inspector, and dragging a "show" segue to the button I want to use to initiate the segue. I gather the usual method is to control-drag in the storyboard, but that method won't work with VoiceOver. Thanks in advance for any information.
I get a “thing” — a floating button is perhaps what it is — which says “manual” and can be clicked to complete creation of the segue.
So, there's only the one item to select? It doesn't matter as much if it's not labeled and not working with VoiceOver if it's the only one to pick from. Had there been multiple options, that would have been a problem, but if there's only one choice, this is a minor bug. Thanks for the help.
If I go in the other direction (to-target), I get a little HUD panel listing all the segue types, with section headings including “Manual” above the regular segue choices. (There’s a second group of deprecated choices.) So I'd guess that your from-target drag is disambiguating which group of segues, and is giving a choice of one thing. Or possibly it’s just a “do-it” button. It’s not very clear.
