Zooming the screen when editing an XIB

I'm making some XIBs for custom table cells for iOS and have this lovely big expensive Thunderbolt display with all the real estate in the world.

(Xcode 7.3, Mac OS 10.11.1)

When editing an XIB, not a storyboard, how do you zoom in to the XIB? I can't find any options in the IB or the Editor or View menus to do this.

Is it even possible?

This is more difficult than it needs to be.

Thanks.
