Xcode documentation woes

Xcode 7.2.1

Since last week, using the QuickHelp panel for any reference link will open up a documentation window, but then immediately switch over to Safari to display a documentation page from https://developer.apple.com/reference. Xcode's documentation window remains blank -- completely blank.

Where is the documentation supposed to reside on disk? How do I download it again?
