I just have to say to the wonderful people on the Xcode team, that finally getting the ability to turn off some of the animations gives a crisp, fast and responsive UI.
Command 0, 1, 2, 0, MAN, IT IS SO INSTANT. Same with command option 0, 1, 2, 3, etc and command shift Y.
MAN, it's so nice to turn off those insipid animations that slow down the UI and a developer's ability to zip through the UI with command keys.
Now if we can only turn off those useless damn roll out and slide up of the NSOutlineViews, I'd be closer to a happy man.
And stop hiding arrows next to hierarchical items. If it's hierarchical, then SHOW ME. Don't make me hunt for it to find out.
But, again, thank you.
Waiting until Xcode 8 stabilizes so we can release an iOS app in it.
Current gating issues on iOS are:
Getting bogus 16 bit color errors in Assets.car and the image tools don't mention which file(s) has the error.
All builds targeting iOS 8 crash somewhere with a bad access.
Looking forward to that date.
Thanks again for the animation neutering in the UI. It is much appreciated.
