which is also a *big* hint as to why a spam filter script as

If you will take a look at Richard's original post in this thread you will
see that his address is anything but hidden:
From: CMS <email@hidden>
Spammers can therefore find his address just as easily as anyone else's
address. So this wonderful feature to which you are referring isn't doing a
very good job of protecting his address from spammers. ;)
The To header, on the other hand, is hidden:
To: Recipient List Suppressed <email@hidden>
Ironic - by suppressing the recipient list, Richard inadvertently sent
everyone the very address he was trying to protect. Note that if the To
header were not hidden, it would have contained the address
<email@hidden>.
Why would Richard want to hide apple's address? Unless he is trying to
prevent spammers from getting apple's list address, there's no reason he
should be hiding the To header when posting to a list.
The only other possible reason I can think of for Richard to hide the To
header is if he is sending HIMSELF a copy of every message he sends to the
list, which is unlikely.
If I am missing something, enlighten me.
This suppression feature won't accomplish what Richard is asking about. My
understanding is that Richard wants to have a script that reads a text file
containing a list of domains / email addresses, and based on that info
ignore / trash / auto-respond to emails from those addresses.

PS: Apple forces users to log into the list database in order to view
messages posted here, making it pretty hard for spammers to harvest
addresses from the archive.
