Sample code is on its way and is appearing here and there as people get
their heads around it. The controller layer is interesting indeed. I
can see the potential there, but there's it's going to take a bit of
time to see how to best use this new tool. In addition, we'll have to
see what's in the pipeline. It's definitely also something that's going
to be growing into the future if all indications from Apple are
correct.
mmalc already posted some sample code from Apple. Here's an interesting
tidbit from one of the Hydra^H^H^H^HSubEthaEdit guys that let's you
browse your local Rendezvous announcements:

I personally haven't dug into it (i'm currently frantically buried in
the production process for a book (and no, it's not a new edition of
Learning Cocoa w/Objective-C!)), but it's on my list of things to dig
into when I come up for air in December.
But one opinion that I don't think I'm going to budge from--you need to
know how to do glue-code before you really should be digging into
Controllers. It's not a beginner's feature by any means--especially not
yet.
