One of my designers is having the most annoying problem. For some reason,
PS 6 on his Win2k machine is displaying colors very poorly. Before I go any
further, here is a link to some examples:

these 3 screen grabs show that the problem is in PhotoShop on the PC. The
confusing part it that the Mac screen grab is also from PS6 with the exact
same color set-up with the exact same image. The image is a render from
Maya with sRGB embedded. On both machines, the working space was sRGB and
both were set to preserve embedded profiles. The third image is a screen
grab on the same PC using ACDSee, which, as far as I know, does nothing with
profiles. As you can see, the ACDSee image is rather close to the Mac
image, so it is definitely a PhotoShop issue.
I have tried every scenario I con think of on the PC, but I just don't have
much experience on them. Does anyone have any thoughts?
