Which make of dye inks are you using.
Richard,
The prints made with our Epson 1280 printer are purchased in bulk
bottles and fed thru a
Continuous Inking System. The prints we've made on the Epson 5000 are
stock Epson inks, but
I haven't used this set-up very long and don't know about the longevity.
The name on the bulk bottle says "Epson OEM Compatible Inks" and
they're from:
SpecialtyInks.com
233 Rogue River Hwy. #1063
Grants Pass, OR 97527
to order, call 541-955-9394
To be fair, the prints that I make are stored in a box until a
salesperson takes one or two to give to
a client as a promo piece, so they are well protected. However, many
clients hang them in their offices
in what I image is direct sunlight. I can ask a salesperson to get
more feedback on these front-line soldiers.
Dave
