While third party rips such as Best can get around the issue, if you use the
matte k with the Epson driver and want to print on any Epson glossy media,
the Epson driver rejects the job as invalid data and prints in rough mode or
gives a command error. If you tell the driver that matte k is installed, it
will block the gloss options. This is at least true of the wide format
models. . .i don't know about the 4000 or the 2200.
