Richard
looks interesting
but it's almost impossible to see any potential without some more
information. I realise it's not quite out of beta - but I've been
scratching my head for an hour!
What's the ballpark on pricing BTW?

I downloaded the DV application and eventually worked out that I also
needed Quick Read to make my <standard>.
Seems like I perhaps also need a mySQL database?
It would be so useful to have some kind of manual, or is it just me
being an idiot? I read a FOGRA strip, into QR, next I thought I'd read
it again into DV, I can't get to read it in the same way. The strips
don't match and I get no results.
Yeah, I've not worked it out but must everyone who wants to see it go
through this frustration.
I'd suggest taking a look at basICColor Control, developed in
conjunction with FOGRA, it uses standard press data (the FOGRA
mediawedge) and a very simple process of reading in.
