I was looking to
purchase a printer that would enable me to do heat up transfers. I need to be
able to transfer photos etc. onto t-shirts. I have received a
few suggestions and they are:
the Alps MD-5000 and
MD-1300, these both have Dye Sublimation and Thermal Transfer capabilities, and
print at 2400 dpi they are priced at about $500 each.
the Lexmark
C912 which goes for about $3500
and the Xante
ColourLaser 600 which goes for about $3000.
I am very
new to this, any suggestions of other printers would be appreciated also. I
would prefer to stay in the $500 range if possible.
