I just re-installed the X11SDK.pkg, did a "fink update-all" in the
terminal window, and here is the error that I got:
deb/dpkgdb.cc: In member function `virtual bool
debDpkgDB::ReadyFileList(OpProgress&)':
deb/dpkgdb.cc:403: internal compiler error: in
direct_reference_binding, at
cp/call.c:1132

Any thoughts?

Did you also install X11SDK.pkg from the dev tools cd?

I just upgraded to OS X 10.3 Panther, installed X11 and the developer

So far I have been unable to install anything from "source", only as
"binary".
For example, after installing "imagemagick" from the binary, it's
status is
"outdated" in the FinkCommander package display. If I try to update
this
from the source, at some point in the compilation process, I get the
following error:

rdbmp.c: In function 'start_input_bmp':
Rdbmp.c:404: internal compiler error: Segmentation Fault

Make: *** [rdbmp.lo] Error 1

Failed: compiling libjpeg-6b-6 failed
Does anyone have any ideas what went wrong and how to fix the problem?
Thanks,
Peter.
