I installed 0.2 this morning and ran the GIMP on it. The first thing I noticed was the windows were back to the green "terminal" type windows (confusing after the Aqua-type windows) and the Aqua buttons were gone. The second thing I noticed was how slow the GIMP was to a) load and 2) run. Noticeably slower: it launches in under 10 seconds in 0.1, and took 60 seconds on one launch, 90 seconds on the other launch, in 0.2). I just installed 0.1 again and my windows and buttons are back and so is the GIMP. I think I'll wait until 0.3 to try again - one of the most important features of X11 for me, as a casual user, is the Aqua-like interface and being able to minimise windows into the Dock.
