ms intellimouse problems

  • Subject: ms intellimouse problems

Hi!

This is a bug in the ms-driver, that doesn't allow it to pass the event through to the OS.

However there is a workaround:

enable mouse-button emulation in X11 and set the ms-panel to send the emulation keystroke.

Yes, this was already in the archives.

The standard usb mouse driver that comes with osx isn't very good in terms
of tracking speed. I was able to solve this by using the ms intellimouse
driver. The tracking problem is now fixed. But the ms driver appears to
catch the middle button press (used in xterm, etc) and not pass it to the
application. Has anybody found a solution to this. I can selectively disable
the ms driver for all of X11 but I get terrible tracking while in X11 then.
