How would one know if this was the case. I have checked the gnome web site for metacity information and I can not tell if it uses Xinerama.

gnome1.4 with sawfish works fine.

Is this a bug with X11 or with gnome2 metacity and is there a workaround.

Thanks
Gary

Which version of X11 are you guys using, beta 0.1? I thought this problem was fixed in beta 0.2. It is for fvwm2, in any case.

If the window manager uses Xinerama to find the screen edges, it will work, otherwise it won't. Hopefully that should include most modern wm's.
