Perhaps only an academic question, but has anyone with 10.2.x tried to
compile the new X11 v. 1.0 source? I compiled the v. 1.0 source on the site
prior to the release of Panther. Except for the proprietory quartz-wm,
everything worked fine for a long time. I used oroborus and, later, xfce3
for window management. The source pre-Panther included 4.3, so the
statement that 4.3 won't run on Jaguar doesn't stand. Or perhaps I am
misreading.
Also as pointed out OroborOSX runs on 10.2.x and is now in v 0.9 prerelease.
It can use the core of v.1 (pre-Panther) or it can use XDarwin.
