Nothing whatsoever has been done to copy-paste since the leopard
release version. We have plans to make changes eventually to allow
better integration (see the bug report in trac and threads in this
mailing list).
As for autocutsel, I have no idea what that is, so you need to talk to
whoever develops that product to figure out why it doesn't work with
leopard.

buffer to OSX clipboard. Before I was able to simply highlight text

I have to explicitly use cmd-c in the X window to make a selection
that can be pasted to OSX applications. It appears that 'autocusel'
does not function any more. Would it be possible to retain the
original behaviour, which worked with 'autocutsel', in addition to
the cmd-c method?
