I think my perhaps-too-subtle point is that you're better off filing a
bug when you've found one, not looking for a mailing list to post
about it...

Unfortunately. I don't know the answer either. But I do recommend
that you give iTerm a try. Historically much more reliable and
featureful than Terminal.app, thouigh I haven't compared it to the
Leopard version of the latter yet.
