So, when xcode creates a file in response to a new file menu selection (in my current work, C++) header comments are automatically generated for the file.
Is there a way to create our own header comment templates and can these be referenced based on project or are they referenced based on xcode instance.

Note the error on that page: the product name is actually "Xcode," not "XCode."
