I have scripts close to the 32k on my machine and their isn't a problem.
But my tech guy look into it and found 518MB of invisible files that he
deleted and numerous fonts that weren't supposed to be installed, and
removed those. He rebuild the desktop and the font database in ATM 4.6. and
now it runs fine on the same scripts.
We think it was really the fonts.
But thanks to everyone who contributed both on and off the list.
