Not really missing. White space.
It came to me as ASCII character 9 which is a tab.

I'll be applying the result to the latest version of ConvertScript for
handling conversions between Apple ASCII for scripts and, I guess, the
7-bit ASCII used in much of the email than gets passed around.

Now instead of the familiar junk characters (when people forget that fun
things like chevrons, continuation characters, not equal signs and the
like don't transmit properly) there's a new set of junk characters so
I gotta reconfigure my conversion lists.

To see a preliminary read me with the old translation characters, it
should be up by the time you read this. Somewhere around:

I'm dumping my old weird continuation character encoding |->
and am replacing it with ==> unless that somehow screws
some email programs. I've noticed the equal sign in place of an end of
line.

The more problems technology solves, the more it provides.
