MacOS 9.2.1 disappointment

I downloaded and installed MacOS 9.2.1 on my G4, and was surprised and upset
to see that Applescript is still at version 1.6.

Chris & Chris - is a separate Applescript update for the classic MacOS
planned soon? I hate to keep harping on the CGI bug, but I'd really like to
be using the very latest and best version of the classic MacOS and ALL its
components (and to have the latest version *be* the best version in every
respect).

[OT]
There is something else I was confused by. I thought the 9.2.1 update was
primarily for MacOS/Classic compatability, yet when I began the installation,
a warning displayed telling me that the update would render the MacOS
unusable inside the MacOSX Classic environment. Kind of strange, like Mac OS
X Server not running on the latest hardware.
