So, then, yes, it is possible to break AppleScript.

In Smile's early development stages (before it was public), this has
happened to us.

There is at least one osax around which, I think, breaks AppleScript. Since
I am not sure, I won't quote its name publicly.

I said "I think" since I have not being using it since long - because it
used to break AppleScript. Maybe latest versions don't.
