This works for me. It compiles and runs and works.
It does not work for me.
"An identifier can not come after this identifier" this identifier
being Disk Volume. Did you record it and it worked as well?

Try installing the latest cabon version.
Latest carbon version meaning? SE 1.5.5 or there is anything more recent?

Look, I've been crashing just by keying in a bit faster. I have very
few non Apple extensions, mind you.

No, I do not. Does it work for you, the Startup Disk I mean?
I know 9.0 SD is NOT scriptable, may be 9/0/4 it is, I'll check it out.
