I reached my own conclusion: I stopped writing--for anyone but
me--Scripting Additions after about three, all of which were conversions
from Frontier extensions [the "conversion" was in the packaging, and in one
case in changing how the result is returned <Frontier allows a much fuller
reply event than AppleScript does>]. And I matched that by not starting to
write FBAs. The only Addition of mine in which there has been much
interest is Math Commands, which I'm not going to modernize either for PPC
or for Mac OS X. And I've had no takers who want to take over...step right
up.

Akua: "small one bit icon"
Now there's an interesting concept, when only slightly misread. It would
save doing a lot of (nearly impossible anyhow, for me) art work. ;-) The
large one bit icon, on the other hand... ;-)
I don't have Akua (Scripting Addition Phobia) so I can't comment
intelligently on the details of Richard 23's rant. And for a change, I
*will* let that stop me.
