It appears that System 9.04's Standard Additions scripting addition works in System 8.6 as well. Does anyone know of any problems with that?

Hello,

Do you know of a scripting addition that will determine quickly whether or not a file is in use in System 8.6? The "info for" call in the Standard Additions of System 9.04 has a "busy status" property in its returned file information record. This works well enough in System 9.04, but is not available in System 8.6.

John
