This is pretty scary. Maybe you got by since the backups were
performed when they weren't in use, but I wound *NEVER* recommend a
backup solution that backs up files while they are in use by another
application, especially a database. There are ALWAYS proper ways to
backup database files AFAIK.
We would register a few errors. But since we backed up every 24
hours and the errors were never the same we never had any problems.
That's even more scary. Errors are there to tell you that something
bad is happening and that you need to fix it.
No data loss over three years running 200 databases.
