I hate to quell your enthusiasm ... ;-)
Ce est impossible!
Hans,
Another problem occurs with those wacky embedded object created by
XTensions. Here is the output (ascii list) from a selection with
PowerMathXT:
{4, 0, 4, 0, 2, 92, 156, 0, 20, 0, 0, 0, 10, 0, 0, 0, 36, 97, 70, 0, 20, 0,
0, 0, 10, 0, 0, 1, 4, 12, 105, 99, 99, 95, 48, 57, 48, 48, 46, 116, 99, 102,
28, 239, 96, 24, 192, 137, 180, 7, 60, 8, 162, 8, 39, 50, 112, 8, 39, 50, 0,
6, 161, 59, 140, 255, 255, 0, 0, 8, 39, 50, 64, 34, 64, 8, 72, 24, 192, 216,
252, 255, 255, 255, 255, 8, 39, 50, 64, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 16, 97, 70, 0, 7,
163, 100, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 8, 0, 0, 0, 179, 6, 199, 70, 16, 6, 199, 144,
212, 36, 68, 94, 123, 45, 49, 125, 36, 0, 4, 0, 2, 92, 156, 0, 20, 0, 0, 0,
10, 0, 0, 0, 36, 97, 70, 0, 20, 0, 0, 0, 10, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 3,
0, 5, 8, 67, 104, 97, 114, 99, 111, 97, 108, 5, 82, 77, 84, 77, 73, 5, 84,
105, 109, 101, 115, 4, 77, 84, 83, 89, 5, 84, 105, 109, 101, 115, 0, 1, 0,
1, 0, 20, 153, 236, 0, 9, 245, 194, 0, 3, 0, 0, 0, 18, 0, 0, 0, 11, 0, 0, 0,
29, 0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 2, 0, 9, 0, 0, 68, 0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 27, 115, 34, 0, 6, 180,
192, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 25, 0, 0, 0, 9, 0, 0, 0, 34, 0, 0, 0, 4, 0, 0, 0, 6, 0,
0, 161, 0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 32, 127, 220, 0, 6, 180, 192, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 30, 0,
0, 0, 8, 0, 0, 0, 37, 0, 0, 0, 5, 0, 0, 0, 6, 0, 0, 49}
2 more samples:
{4, 0, 4, 0, 2, 160, ... //lots of characters removed//... , 0, 110}
{4, 0, 4, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 20, ... //lots of characters removed//... , 0, 10,
0, 0, 120, 97}
Plenty of nulls, plenty of ascii '4's, along with the leading set. This from
3 characters set with the XTension.
I expect similar problems from my 'MathSetter' Xt.

So, the best bet is still to create a new document, copy the selection

in a new box, count the boxes and subtract 1.
Why does this help? I don't think it helps with my XT objects problem.
Thanks, though.
