Agreed. If you're not filtering your list mail, you have too much time on your hands, or you're new to mailing lists, or you need a better e-mail client. Mail filters are mandatory if you subscribe to lists. I know that without them I'd be writing scripts to handle the same operations. Of the many lists I'm on, only one has such a header, and all it does is makes the subject lines more difficult to read - scrolling required.
