Excuse me, but what exactly is preventing Paul from setting up an email
filter in whatever email software he is using to file to a certain folder
all messages whose recipient header(s) contains the address
"email@hidden"?
I don't see any good reason to ask the list admin to put [AS] in the subject
line of this list. It detracts from the flexibility of the subject line,
and due to different email software behaviors, makes it harder to tell where
you are in a particular thread. I say keep the subjects the same as they
are now.
Sorry, but I am of the opinion that if Paul's email software doesn't allow
him to filter messages based on email headers, then maybe he should look
into getting a better emailer rather than requesting that the entire list
change to suit his email software's restricted requirements.
