I haven't been following all the messages relating to this thread, but here are my two cents worth:

...if the concern is the large number of e-mails being received as a result multiple mailing list subscriptions, request that the messages be sent in 'digest' form. I use Eudora 4.3 and I get the AppleScript Mailing List in digest form and filtered to AppleScript Users folder. Each digest contains an attachment which is actually another Eudora mailbox. Double-clicking that presents the new mailbox with the individual messages sent to the list. It takes a couple of steps, but saves me hours of filtering and deleting multiple messages. BTW, make sure you have "Delete Attachments along with Message" option turned ON. This way, the attached mailbox is deleted when you delete the digest message.
