I'm not sure if you are having a problem with 4.3.3. or 5.x?!?!? Anyway, I've had no problems with any version prior to 5, and the opposite problem with 5.x. In 5.x I can create the nickname file but can't delete it. I also can no longer open the address book in 5.x but I can close it after it's open.
