In Eudora Pro 4.3.3 - the version I've stayed with for a while now - it's not possible to create a new address book in AppleScript and keep the script running

If anyone has successfully made new address books through a script with Eudora 5.x then I'd like to hear about it.

I'm not sure if you are having a problem with 4.3.3. or 5.x?!?!?

4.3.3 is the problem.

Anyway, I've had no problems with any version prior to 5, and the opposite problem with 5.x. In 5.x I can create the nickname file but can't delete it.

I didn't try to delete one. Mostly I need to make more of them

I also can no longer open the address book in 5.x but I can close it after it's open.

My scripts just make entries or delete them with the address book closed. That all works. Never used to script to open or close the box.
