"There is a discussion (on the Adobe forums and MacFixit) about conflicts
between Photoshop and the Nvidia video card drivers. I moved them to the
disabled folder and restarted. That fixed the problem on my iMac."

This comes at an opportune time for my own question regarding video glitches
with PS6...
I just finished re-writing a script I was running that automates PS and
iView Multimedia. I decided that it would likely run faster if I hid the
process, and so I set the visibility of Photoshop to false. Then, to view
the progress I started using Dialog Director to show progress bars.
Everything runs fine through to the end of the script. At this point,
however, poltergeists take hold of my video card and I see phantom window
contents, invisible corners of windows -- all manner of goofy video
behavior. Restart clears it all up. Am I experience some kind of bad memory
problems with my script or could it be a simple conflict as described above?
