Awful bold talk from the 51st state. ;)

Personally, I think Canada still has some real use since it allows many Americans to travel incognito, posing as Canadians.

As for McDonald's, they are a force for world peace. As it stands, no two countries with McDonald's have ever gone to war. That's a statistic to be reckoned with. However, remember that you don't have to eat there. They're just there to prevent the spread of blood, devastation, death, war and horror.

And as I understand it, Puerto Rico and Guam are still competing for that coveted 51st state designation. My money's on Guam.

Personally, I think we should open the borders virtually instead of physically and allow anyone to become an American, regardless of where they live. That way we can get over that "us versus them" thing and all have access to 30 minute pizza delivery.
