I have never noticed this, except for the applet's startup, which is
unavoidable with any kind of application. If you need a script to run
more than once on a regular basis, you might want to save it as a stay-
open application. Then, when you double click on the script's icon
again, it doesn't have to launch, it immediately goes to work.
